Fifteen board-certified radiologists on the AIS AI team work tirelessly to label images, provide feedback on AI evaluations and maintain quality control on pilot study reports to ensure patient care remains paramount.

Domain experts (board certified specialists) are needed to train and measure the accuracy of each AI model. Radiologists (pathologists, cardiologists, dentists, etc.) spend hours labeling images and offering corrected data to be used to train, assess, and retrain the machine. Moreover, it is necessary to include a team of domain experts so that consensus can be reached, and the machine is not trained on the opinion of one individual.
