Paul Fisher – Senior Vice President, Antech
Paul E. Fisher has an extensive background in imaging based research including numerous peer reviewed publications, providing expertise in telemedicine, and electronic solutions. He earned a B.S in Physiology from UC Davis, and worked on his PhD while at North Carolina StateUniversity. Mr. Fisher was Director of the Center for Imaging Science in the School of Veterinary Medicine at UC Davis for 17 years. In 1994 Mr. Fisher was recruited to NCSU School of Veterinary Medicine to be the Director of the Biomedical Imaging Resource Facility. In 1999 he left NCSU to launch DarkHorse Medical Ventures, Inc.. DarkHorse was purchased by VCA in August 2005. Mr. Fisher is currently a Senior Vice President at Antech Diagnostics and is responsible for Antech Imaging Services. -
Lisa Ziemer – AIS Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Ziemer obtained her bachelor’s degree with honors from Bryn Mawr College. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1998. She then performed a one-year fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, performing researchin the field of noninvasive imaging of hypoxia. She went on to complete a residency in radiology, becoming board certified in 2003. After her residency, Dr. Ziemer spent one year as a postdoctoral fellow in oncology at the University of Pennsylvania. After spending several years in private radiology practice, she joined Antech Imaging Services, where she is currently the Chief Medical Officer for AIS. -
Diane Wilson – Director of Academic Affairs
Dr. Wilson was awarded her doctorate of veterinary medicine from Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine; after which she completed her residency in radiology at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. After a year as a research fellow at the Scott-Ritchey Research Center, she returned to teach at Tuskegee. Dr. Wilson left academia in 2012 and joined the AIS team where she serves as the AIS Director of Academic Affairs. As the Director of Academic Affairs Dr. Wilson works closely with universities throughout the United States and Europe to develop a variety of programs that benefit the university, the radiology profession, as well as AIS. She also serves on the AIS Advisory Committee, and currently manages the AIS resident program. -
Leslie Gentry – AIS RapidRead Product Manager
Dr. Gentry earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. Over the next five years, she worked in emergency medicine, small animal practice, and was Medical Director at the Irvine City animal shelter. In 2004,purchased a small animal hospital in Northern California and in 2010 she started a small animal hospital in Southern California from scratch. Dr. Gentry sold both practices and took on the role of Professional Services Veterinarian for Zoetis for two years and then Sales Specialist for Antech Imaging Services for seven years. Her current role is Director of Telemedicine for AIS, where she works closely with the management team and technical support staff. Dr. Gentry recently earned her MBA through Colorado State University. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her horse and working on her equine photography skills. -
Mike Mays – AIS Technical Support Supervisor
Mike Mays is a California native, Mike grew up in Orange County CA and started working for VCA in 2005 as a veterinary technician, where he spent the next 7 years before making his move to ANTECH Imaging Services in 2012. Outside of work he enjoys riding his motorcycle,hiking, and traveling with his wife. They currently live in Costa Mesa with their 2 cats (Duke and P-Bob) and even though he loves all animals Mike considerers himself a “cat person”. His favorite animal is a sloth and plans to one day travel the world photographing wildlife.
